COVID-19 Information
Continuing Communication and Remote Learning
Firstly we wanted to thank you for your ongoing support of the academy during this difficult time. The welfare of our families and staff is hugely important to us, and we want to ensure we are doing everything we can to be supportive of you, communicating changes at the academy as soon as possible.
Our teaching staff are working extremely hard to maintain a full timetable of lessons based on the situation we find ourselves in nationally and locally; making sure your child reaches their potential, feels empowered to learn and is confident they have their teacher with them all the way is key.
In this section, we will be providing you information on Remote learning (including pages on Microsoft Teams help, timetables, and additional learning), Homework, SEND support, wellbeing information and any covid-related letters home.
Should you or your child need support from a member of the Pastoral team please email Family@Oasismediacityuk.org and a member of the team will be in touch.
National Lockdown
The government have announced a new national lockdown to stop the spread of the coronavirus. You can read more information about the national lockdown on the gov.uk website.
Partial School Closures
As part of the lockdown, the Academy will only be open to pupils whose parents are critical workers, or those determined as vulnerable until at least the February half term. You can read the government’s guidance on this here.
All other young people are being asked to learn remotely from home.
This website will be updated with the latest information, and parents are also asked to consult the latest letters from the academy. If parents have any questions, they are asked to email the academy directly.
